At Fortino you will find OSTERIA DI MIRANDA, a cosy and warm place where you can rediscover the spirit, the sportive glory and the history of Fortino’s century-old bowling enjoying the recipes of the past with today’s methods and real ingredients.

Other places are located in Via Cigna, the closest street to Fortino: here you can find a good quantity of shops, IN’S supermarket, gas stations, pharmacy, tobacco shop, bars and some restaurants. Many other places are located in Via Borgo Dora and all the surrounding area of Porta Palazzo (the market square full of life every morning, but specially on Saturdays when you have, besides the usual vegetables/fruit and meat market, also the vintage market, actually the biggest one in Europe! – it really worth a visit before coming to the afternoon milonga!)
We also have an area called Quadrilatero Romano, where you can find more than 50 restaurants, bistrots, cocktail and tapas bars to have dinner or generous buffet aperitivo. They are at least 15 minutes walking from the marathon venue so we are listing just some of them being a little bit far away. If you would like to go there we suggest to get lost amongst Via Sant’Agostino, Piazza Emanuele Filiberto, Piazza IV Marzo, Via Bellezia and explore its beautiful corners!
